What is the principle of electric vehicle braking?Precautions for replacing the brakes of electric vehicles?
Electric vehicle brakes are roughly divided into holding brakes, up brakes, drum brakes and disc brakes.
1. Hold the brake. The braking principle of the holding brake is to hold the wheel hub from the outside to the inside to brake. This brake adopts mechanical transmission. The brake effect of the lock brake is not good due to the abnormal sound of the brake. It has been almost eliminated at this stage, so I will not say more now!
2. Raise the brake. The braking principle of the expansion brake is to brake from the inside to the outside, pulling the brake line, and only one side of the brake is quickly opened to achieve the braking effect. The brake effect is good, and it is widely used in electric bicycles, but it is inevitable to use it to a certain extent.
Replacement method:
a. Spray the rust remover on the screws that are to be disassembled. It is inevitable to rust for a long time. Forcibly disassembling will cause the screw pattern to be broken.
b. Disassemble the screws and gaskets randomly to provide convenience for installation.
c. Knock on the brake disc. Don't change the brake because it saves trouble. If the brake disc is not round for a long time, it will bring harm to the brake pad. Don't use brute force when knocking, it is easy to knock the aluminum cover of the motor and crack.
d. When installing, apply a little lubricating oil to the rocker arm on one side of the upbrake. Remember that the brake pads are forbidden to get oiled, so as to avoid rusting and inflexible returning to the position after a short time.
e. The clearance between the inside and outside of the brake should be moderate. Use shims to adjust the clearance! .
f. The screw to fix the brake motor shaft must be tightened, otherwise the brake will cause locks and falls.
g. Debug the brake to prevent it from rolling resistance. Check whether the brake is powered off. The non-electric parts of the brake are easy to break and it is not safe for people to ride.
3. Drum brakes. The principle of drum brake braking is to open the brake cable or brake lever, and the two brakes are simultaneously spread out and closely attached to the brake ring to achieve the brake braking effect! The drum brake replacement method is relatively simple! After removing the wheel, use both hands to buckle it down. When installing, fold it to 90 degrees with both hands and move it up! Similarly, the joints should be a little oily, flexible and free to rebound!
4. Disc brakes. The brake principle of disc brakes is to use hydraulic oil to push the brake pads against the stainless steel plates to brake. The disc brakes need to be replaced after a period of time.
Replacement method:
a. Open the brake fluid cup cover and loosen the vent screw on the lower pump slightly to allow the brake fluid to leak out.
b. Flow the turbid and unclear brake fluid from the vent hole and then add new brake fluid to the oil pump until you see the clean brake fluid, then tighten the vent hole screw.
c. Disc brake exhaust method skills: Open the lid of the upper pump oil cup, repeatedly pinch the brake lever of the pump several times, then pinch without letting go, then loosen the drain screw of the lower pump, and repeat the operation until The brake lever is under pressure. If the brake lever is too soft and there is no pressure, open the air exhaust screw on the lower pump. At this time, do not pinch the brake lever. Oil will flow out of the air exhaust screw hole, and air bubbles will come out as the oil flows out. "The premise is that the brake cannot be missing. "Oil", drain until no air bubbles come out, tighten the vent screw.
